And we have a winner!

The pageant is at an end now, MadelineJane (Madeline Beck) is our new Miss Teen Avi winner! She carried herself with grace even with her win and was very happy for her. I myself got 1st runner up. While yes there's always a little disappointment when you put so much of yourself into a thing but at the same time I know that it will come around again next year and maybe just maybe I will win that one! I'm thrilled with the experiences I had and the people I met. All of them had great talent and were quick to give a helping hand. I made lots of new friends and strengthened relationships with older ones as well.

All great girls and all I now consider friends and happy to know them. I can't believe the pageant is over already after eight weeks but at least we have each other and all of our plans for our immediate futures! My thanks to all the judges and mentors we had during these past couple of months. You were all great!

This was the Mirror Mirror Outfit. We had to make an outfit that shows what is important to us. 

The things that define me are family, heritage and water. 

The word Family I tried to make larger so that people will know just how important that is too me. The design of my costume shows my Native American heritage which is Cherokee, which is deeply rooted in nature and Mother Earth, so I wore the world as a hairpiece as it's what grounds me. The fish and bubbles represent the water that calms and soothes me with its sounds, movement and caress.
